Beth + Mark: Gassaway Mansion Wedding in Greenville, SC
Elizabeth + Mark had a simple and sweet Gassaway Mansion Wedding in downtown Greenville, SC. They started the day off getting ready at Megan Diez Salon which is just around the corner. The lighting is always so perfect in that location. Nice large windows and big white walls. Plus they do amazing work! It was a brunch wedding so the day started off a bit early than normal. We actually really enjoy doing brunch weddings. Leaving while it’s still daylight out feels weird but it’s nice to still have some of your Saturday left when it’s all said and done. The Gassaway Mansion is such a cool venue. The best part about it is it’s so close to downtown Greenville. We absolutely love this place. It’s run by the sweetest family. Such kind people to work with. Elizabeth + Mark are such sweet people. They actually met in Tacloban during a Missions trip. Which just so happened to be where we documented the Philippine Typhoon – A Last Minute Trip That Changed My Life!
Can’t wait to share some photos from their recent wedding at the Gassaway Mansion. Honored to have captured this special time in their life.
A bit more from the venue:
Filled with the exuberance and prosperity of the roaring 20’s. One mile from Main Street Greenville, the Gassaway Mansion is the largest house in the Upstate and is listed on The National Register of Historic Places. The Gassaway Mansion is owned by a Christian Non Profit, storing over 1,000 pieces of religious art. Rental revenue, from events at The Gassaway Mansion, are used to maintain this structure; which houses Christian Art used to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through art shows all over the world. – Gassaway Mansion
